Dr. Ezra Azhar
Dr. Ezra Azhar has been practicing medicine in Oregon for more than 37 years. He graduated from the Patna Medical College, India in 1971. Dr. Azhar specializes in Family Medicine. He is affiliated with Providence Saint Vincent Medical Center. In 2009, Dr. Azhar was awarded “America’s Most Compassionate Doctors” by the American Registry based on popular votes by the patients. He is passionate about charitable work and is actively involved in several charitable organizations helping underprivileged kids in rural India. He is the ex-vice President of Oregon chapter of Nargis Dutt Cancer Foundation of Mumbai. Sargam Foundation is fortunate to have him as an adviser.
Mr. Gora Gupta
Gora Gupta is one of the most respected musicians in Kolkata. Since 1981 Mr. Gupta has been playing professional guitar with singers like Manna Dey, Nirmala Misra, Calcutta Youth Choir, Amrik Singh Arora, Haimanti Sukla and many others. He has worked with several music directors including Nanda Das, Debajyoti Misra, Babul Bose and has arranged background scores for many films including “Set Patharer Thala”,”Bhrun”, “Mohini”. He has started Sangeet Studio a few years back. Recently he has been very busy arranging, recording, mastering and mixing for many Bollywood movies as well. Sargam Foundation is proud to have him as an adviser.
Mr. Carl Foster
Mr. Carl Foster has been in professional accounting practices for last 38 years. He is a majority owner of Foster & Associates, CPA, LLC, Roy Manufacturing, LLC, Profile Laser, LLC and a few others. He loves doing charitable work and serves in the boards of several non profit organizations including Housecall providers of Oregon. He joins Sargam Foundation as an adviser and we are proud to have him as an adviser.
Mr. Debashish Basu
Mr. Debashish Basu is one of the most respected names in the cultural circle of Kolkata. After graduating from St. Xaviers College in Kolkata, Mr. Basu joined as Kolkata Doordarshan (Kolkata TV) news reader and by the virtue of his God gifted voice, he almost immediately became the most prominent TV news reader of Kolkata Doordarshan. Then Debashish became All India Radio, Kolkata station’s most renowned anchor, program coordinator and director. He has anchored thousands of live programs in Kolkata and all over India with hundreds of stalwarts like Manna Dey, Jagjit Singh, Feroza Begum , Hemanta Mukhopadhyaya. Mr. Basu is very passionate to help the underprivileged and has graciously joined as an adviser to Sargam Foundation. We are fortunate to have him as one of our guides.
